ME Cabo, a Sol Melia experience resort, was the site of E!'s Season 2 premiere of 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians,' a voyeuristic scope into the untamed life of Kim Kardashian and her family. The season's inaugural episode was filmed at ME Cabo and featured the hotel's 'Honey in the Sand' celebration. The show's attention was focused on the Kardashian sisters' attendance of the party, as well as them enjoying their stay on property.

In a scene from the episode, Kim and her sisters are walking the red carpet at ME Cabo's celebration talking about how happy they are to be there. In subsequent scenes you see the ladies basking in the sun on their suite's balcony; savoring the food at Nikki Beach; and dancing to the energetic beats spun by the DJ at the Passion Club. This not only establishes ME Cabo as celeb-certified, but has also cast the hotel, and the brand, under the spotlight of an episode that was viewed by well over 2.5 million viewers.

The fame of Kim Kardashian, daughter of late power attorney Robert Kardashian, ignited by the leak of a rather scandalous tape gone viral and has only been elevated by her forays in fashion, branding, and acting. The success of Season 1 of 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' has since extended to a second and, now, to ME Cabo.
