The Beaches of Cabo San Lucas

Summers tend to follow a ritualistic trend; blockbuster action flicks, short and skimpy clothing, and trip after trip after trip to the beach. Making time for the sand and the ocean almost becomes routine, and you seemingly skip the whole phase of lobster-red sunburns and coats of aloe-vera, and before you know it, you're investing entire days snoozing on beach blankets and fighting 4-foot swells.

Beaches and Cabo are practically synonymous south of the border, and a sentence is never complete if you use one but not the other. That's why in commemoration of sweltering heat and cool drinks, we've comprised a list of the Baja's premier beaches.

Playa del Amor - Satisfies the whole family with an arsenal of water sports and cinematic scenery—wide stretches of clear swimming water, perfect for snorkeling, and a front-row set for the infamous Land's End rock formation.

Cannery Beaches - A locals spot used primarily for swimming and spotting fish in its shallow waters.

Medano Beach - The softest sand in Cabo San Lucas; ripe for orchestrating sandcastles of grand proportions.



We've wandered the farthest stretches of Cabo's shoreline, waded every shelf, and built hundreds of sand castles, literally, to arrive at this list. The conclusion we ultimately came to is, despite your particular Baja vacation destination, as long as you're gazing out to an endless ocean, we can thing of no better place to spend your summer.
